Washington workshop to work with dried flowers

Once the winter holiday season draws to a close, Washington creatives will be heading to a local venue to learn how they can create a pretty floral arrangement that may fit well into almost any decor color scheme.

PLNTR, which can be found at 1825 18th Street NW, will be sharing the joys of working with dried flowers and foliage when it hosts an upcoming class. It will be hands on, and the materials needed are included in the ticket price.

Participants can sip on a complimentary mimosa or a non-alcoholic beverage while they work, and all instruction will be provided. The group will be crafting with dried materials that have a neutral palette with some splashes of color added, and as the arrangements will be made from dried materials, they can expect them to keep on looking good for a long time to come.

Flower arranging can be a fun and relaxing hobby that encourages those who enjoy the pastime to connect with nature. A flyer printing company can prepare marketing materials for such an event, and since they can usually be recycled, this may represent an environmentally friendly option.

This introduction to the art of floral arranging will begin at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 6. Tickets for the make-and-take class may be purchased from the venue’s website starting at $55.20.
