Washington sets schedule for Sunset Cinema 2026

An opportunity to experience a movie under the stars is open to Washington residents and visitors, with a schedule of spring and summer flicks running until early September.

The lineup for Sunset Cinema 2026 has been put together. They will all take place at Transit Pier at The Wharf, and each is scheduled for a Wednesday evening.

Those who plan on attending one of the screenings are reminded to bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on, as there will only be a limited amount of seating provided. People who are hearing impaired may request captioning services on site or in advance, and all ages are welcome. Pets may attend, but must be leashed at all times, and Cantina Bambina will be open. The public is encouraged to patronize one of the Wharf’s eateries before they take their seat.

Outdoor movie nights can be a fun way to spend a summer evening. Cinema-style Posters, gate signage, and other custom printed materials for an event can be provided by local printing services companies.

The lineup for Sunset Cinemas runs on Wednesday from May 27 until September 2, with June 24 being the only blank Wednesday. More details can be found on The Wharf’s website. Since it takes place outdoors, screenings may need to be cancelled in case of inclement weather.
