The basics for growing using a hydroponic system will be the focus of a learning opportunity that has been planned by Plants Alive! It will show how vertical gardening offers a way to maximize the use of the space available, and a variety of systems will be explored.

During the session, the facilitator will discuss hydroponic set-ups such as Ebb and Flow, Bato Buckets, and Deepwater Culture so that the attendees can decide which is best fit for them. The selection of nutrients and growing medium is on the agenda, and the equipment used for soilless gardening will be reviewed as well. Tips for both indoors and outdoor systems will be shared, and this will be followed by a time for questions and answers.
