Wire wrap instructional course offers creativity near Waterbury

A course focused on wrapping sea glass is bringing creativity to the Waterbury area, and aspiring artists are being invited to attend and learn a new skill.

The Wire Wrap Sea Glass event will begin in a few weeks. It will bring local artisans together to learn the finer points of wire wrapping to create jewelry and other accessories. Guests will learn from experienced instructors to grow their skills and learn to make jewelry pieces to keep or gift to friends and family.

The course is geared toward all skill levels, and beginners are welcome to register. The instructors will help all attendees fabricate one-of-a-kind jewelry by wrapping allergen-free metal wire around colorful pieces of sea glass. Spots in the class are limited, and interested parties are encouraged to make reservations while openings last. Flyer printing is an effective way to announce events in the community like this.

Each attendee will leave the event with two finished pieces of sea glass jewelry, as well as the knowledge to continue at home. One refreshing beverage is provided with the cost of admission, setting the tone for an evening of creativity with friends.

Cheshire Craft Brewing will host the art course on Tuesday, June 11, with the doors opening at 6:30 PM. General admission tickets are available online, starting at $44.50 per attendee.
