Waterbury distillery to host Spring apparel market

Waterbury residents who are looking to change or upgrade their style are in luck as a unique shopping experience will be coming to a local distillery.

The Steal My Style Market, a community thrifting pop-up, is coming to Waterbury next month to help attendees shop, swap, and sell pre-owned fashion in a fun and welcoming setting. The purpose of the event is to support local vendors and to give clothing a second life, reducing waste in the process.

It’s an excellent opportunity for sustainable shoppers and members of the Waterbury community who have too many articles of clothing to create fair exchanges. Attendees should expect to enjoy more than a typical thrifting experience. Print shops can help with promoting such events and provide professional-looking materials that welcome shoppers and guide them to different vendors.

Attendees who wish to sell clothing can bring their gently-worn Apparel, with racks and clothes hangers provided. Sellers are required to reserve their spots in advance. Shoppers will get to check out curated selections of clothing to find the pieces they’re looking for. It is also an opportunity for thrifters and clothing enthusiasts from the Waterbury area to connect.

The market will be hosted by the Connecticut Distilling Tasting Lounge in Waterbury. It’s scheduled for Sunday, March 29th, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Shoppers enter for free, and sellers can reserve a spot online for $33.85.
