Bladesmithing class held near Waterbury
A unique learning opportunity is coming to the Waterbury area in a few weeks, giving area residents the chance to learn the basics of bladesmithing.
The Introduction to Bladesmithing with Jamie Lundell has opened registration to interested parties in the area who want to enroll and discover the skills necessary for a new hobby. Students who sign up will learn about the basic processes of forging, heat treating, and grinding a simple knife under the guidance and leadership of Lundell.
The knife will be forged from 1075/1080 high-carbon steel before being ground and heat-treated.
