Musical gala raises funds for medical research near Waterbury

An opportunity to enjoy live music with a dinner experience is coming to the Waterbury area this September, and families wanting to make a difference can attend to help raise money for a good cause.

The 2026 Rock for MitoCure is just around the corner in neighboring Prospect, and businesses, families, and individuals in the community are invited to make reservations and aid the fundraising efforts. Guests can look forward to a night of live music and a buffet dinner, with an open bar providing refreshments and opportunities to network and make new friendships.

Companies who wish to help sponsor this year’s event can also jump on those opportunities. Banner printing is an effective promotional strategy for events like this, with the design providing plenty of space to provide sponsors with visibility. The money raised at the event will benefit MitoCure, a group that educates communities about mitochondrial disease and aids research efforts for a cure.

Raffles will be held, giving guests an opportunity to win prizes. A silent auction will also be held, with the proceeds going toward the evening’s total funds raised.

Holiday Hill, located at 43 Candee Road in nearby Prospect, will be hosting this entertaining evening. The party runs from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, September 24. Tickets cost $80 per adult and $40 per child online.
