Naugatuck Valley Radiological Associates (NVRA), PC, based in Waterbury, recently joined forces with Strategic Radiology, thereby creating a presence in Connecticut for the coalition of independent practices that exists across the country.
Inpatient radiology services for two hospitals in New Haven County are provided by NVRA, which has 13 radiologists on its staff who focus on improving patient care while increasing the efficiency of the practice. It also provides outpatient imaging services at four locations offering such services ranging from X-rays to arthrography.
Arl Van Moore Jr, MD, FACR, FSIR, said that NVRA is dedicated to high-quality service and is a forward-thinking practice with a sophisticated information technology and business structure. Radiologists at Strategic Radiology and NVRA share the commitment to putting their patients first.
President of NVRA, Geoffrey Manton, MD, said that by joining with Strategic Radiology, NVRA will benefit from the quality improvement opportunities, data benchmarking, and networking capabilities of Strategic Radiology.
There are 90 non-physician employees of NVRA in the Waterbury area. They are located at a business services organization and four outpatient imaging centers that provide marketing, information technology, human resources, and other administrative services. Strategic Radiology is a coalition of 26 independent, private radiology practices, and employs 1,100 radiologists.
Organizations such as these often use brochure printing to make such announcements to the community and provide more information about services offered.
