Baseball enthusiasts and umpires should leave open spaces in the calendar next month, as a Little League umpiring clinic is planned for Waterbury.
The Little League East Region is planning a clinic to help baseball and softball umpires hone their skills for the upcoming seasons. The event is designed for umpires of all experience levels, with the goal of improving all facets of each participant’s skill and competency. The trainer will focus on areas such as the best stances, techniques, and methods to cover each part of the game.
Participants will join breakout groups to discuss and practice umpiring skills under the watchful eye of course instructors. The East Regional Umpire Staff will be on hand to guide course attendees through the process, using their years of experience to promote good practices among the umpires of the future. Print shops are an excellent resource often used for printing documents to promote events and clinics like this.
Guests can expect targeted feedback from the staff and to be provided with actionable tips to improve techniques and understand rule changes. Along with umpiring gear gloves, all attendees are asked to bring an open mind to the course in order to benefit from the best results.
The clinic will be held at the Little League Eastern Region Complex on Saturday, February 17, beginning at 8:00am. Tickets cost $65, and interested parties can book a spot online.Get a Free Quote for Print
