Some restaurants in Waterbury have applied to reopen their restaurants with outdoor seating. They will open at no more than 50% capacity, and will be allowed outdoor seating on patios, in parking lots, and on the sidewalks. All restaurants will continue with curbside pickup.
Restaurants must have approval by the Waterbury Health Department, fire marshal, building department, and public works for sidewalk service to serve food and beverages outdoors. The departments will try to process restaurant applications quickly.
Verdi at Western Hills reopened last week for patio dining. The owners recommend reservations and have curbside pickup too. Located at 660 Park Road, the eatery is open Monday to Saturday 11:00 am – 10:00 pm and Sundays 11:00 am – 7:00 pm.
The Portuguese Sports Club of Waterbury will have outdoor seating reservations suggested, with luncheon specials on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 – 3:00 pm and some weekdays. Call to order for curbside pickup. The venue is located at 1966 Baldwin Street.
Nino's Trattoria, located at 91 Scott Rd, will have outdoor seating for customer late spring. Open 11:00 am – 8:00 pm daily, customers can call to order for curbside pickup.
