The third store in Connecticut of CarMax, the largest retailer of used cars in the country, was recently opened in Waterbury.
Approximately 200 used vehicles of nearly every make and model will be able to be stocked at the Waterbury CarMax. Requests for transfers from other CarMax locations of almost any other type of vehicle to the retailer can also be made by customers.
To celebrate the opening of the new store, The CarMax Foundation and CarMax, Inc. donated $8,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Waterbury. The organization was nominated by CarMax associates from the Waterbury store who had volunteered for the organization.
General manager of the CarMax in Waterbury, Wayne Lord, said that the company greatly admires the Boys & Girls Club of America and the associates in Waterbury are proud to be able to give back to the local chapter. Opening this third store in the state is very exciting, he added, and everyone is looking forward to providing a car-buying experience that has honesty and integrity at its core.
Flyer printing companies can also be used by companies like CarMax Foundation, which is collaborating with KaBOOM! to get the word around to identify a recipient for an Imagination Playground. The Foundation wants to donate and present this to the recipient later this summer.
