Beer and barbeque to come in Waterbury

Brass City Brew and Que Festival held at Library Park in Waterbury is coming soon. It is a large craft beer and barbecue festival with music, a barbecue competition, and games.

One of the largest brew festivals in New England, there will be over 250 types of custom beer to try. This event draws crowds up and down the East Coast. Those that attend must be 21 years or older. Soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages will be served too.

There will be a food court with barbecued offerings from local food trucks and restaurants. Vendors will serve hotdogs, fries, onion rings, burgers, sausage, burgers, grilled chicken, chicken wings, fried seafood, chicken strips, soda, milk, and bottled water.

Food trucks will serve a variety of barbecued foods, including chicken, turkey, pork ribs, beef, brisket, pasta, potato salad, baked beans, mac and cheese, rice, corn on the cob, and coleslaw.

The Game Zone will have games for adults to play like Corn Hole Toss and players can compete with each other. There will be live musical entertainment and Amateur Pit Master Competition with cash prizes.

Funds raised for this event will be for Main Street Waterbury. This is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving and revitalizing downtown Waterbury. Waterbury has printing services that design Business Cards for organizations like this.

The event will be held on September 7 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm at Library Park 267 Grand Street. There will be free municipal parking nearby and no children or pets are allowed.
