She had been assistant principal since 2016, and during the 2025-2026 academic year served as interim principal. Such appointments often call for business card printing services.
Maxelix joined the Stamford Public Schools in 2013 and started her career at Springdale Elementary School as a Scientific Research-Based Interventions instructional support teacher. She was also on the K-5 Literacy Professional Development Team of the district and was a curriculum associate for data monitoring for grades kindergarten through 12.
Her certifications from the Connecticut State Department of Education are in K-12 Special Education, PreK-6 Elementary, and Intermediate Supervision or Administration. In 2016 she was recognized with a Spotlight on Teachers Award for her work on the Scientific Research-Based Interventions Instructional Support Program for the district.

Talley added that while Maxelix has been at Westover, she has shown her ability to support teachers, build strong relationships, and create a positive learning environment to ensure student success. Talley is looking forward to partnering with her and the administrative team at Westover help every student be successful.
