Artists and art enthusiasts in Hartford are in for a unique event this autumn, with one of the nation’s premier underground art events opening for an evening in October.
The Hartford Pancakes & Booze Art Show has announced an upcoming tour stop in Hartford, giving local artists and vendors an opportunity to be part of the proceedings. The host venue is expected to be buzzing with energy, with the event giving Hartford artists a new platform from which to gain visibility for their works and talent.
Organizers have received commitments from over 50 artists while pursuing the goal of breaking away from the traditional white cube gallery design. In addition to the artwork on display, guests can enjoy musical performances that add to the art show’s energy. With flyer printing, promoters of such events can provide small and convenient marketing tools to passersby to raise awareness of what is happening in the community.
Guests will be treated to unlimited free pancakes, and artists will provide live body painting experiences. A full bar will have drink specials available to guests 21 and over. Interested artists and vendors can reserve their spots in advance.
The Webster in Hartford will be hosting the Pancakes & Booze Art Show on Thursday, October 8, starting at 8:00 pm. Vendor and artist tickets are available for purchase online.
