5K run to raise mental health awareness in Hartford

Runners and joggers in Hartford will have an opportunity to support a good cause next month when a 5K run comes to town.

The Mind Over Miles 5K is gearing up to take off soon, giving participants the chance to run, jog, or walk while raising awareness of mental health in Hartford and beyond. Participants will put their mental fortitude to the test by overcoming mental hurdles with each passing mile. The run is being organized and presented by Seek Therapy Now, and the funds generated from participants will go toward providing free therapy sessions for individuals in need.

Interested parties are welcome to sign up and walk in support of the cause, with organizers providing an alternate route for walkers. The event is not set up as a race. Banner printing is a proven way to promote such events and give awareness to sponsors through increased visibility.

Each participant will receive an exclusive Mind Over Miles T-shirt to commemorate the event, a medal, and a race bib. Light refreshments will be given to finishers as they cross the finish line of the course to celebrate their accomplishment.

Participants will meet at Fresh 5 Deli, located on Main Street in Hartford, at 7:30 AM on Sunday, November 2. Tickets can be purchased online, starting at $65.87 per runner.
