An improv-centered learning opportunity is coming to Hartford soon, and parents with children who enjoy acting and the arts will want to save the date.
The Kids’ Improv Workshop, which is being organized by Sea Tea Improv Studios, is opening registration online for parents with children between 8 and 12 years old with an interest in theater. The workshop will provide a safe and welcoming setting where children can get moving, make new friendships, and have fun through several improv games that grow creativity.
The show’s cast will work as instructors during the kids’ workshop, providing pointers and helping them burn off their energy before the All-Ages show begins. The workshop will last for 45 minutes, and parents are welcome to relax in the lobby and use the free Wi-Fi. Theaters can use flyer printing to create a large volume of marketing materials to place around a town, raising awareness of the learning opportunities they offer.
The workshop will end with enough time before the show for families to get refreshments and snacks before finding and taking their seats. Children can use the learning session to discover a new talent and passion.
Sea Tea Improv Studios in Hartford will be hosting the workshop and improv performance, both of which are slated for Sunday, April 5, at 1:00 PM. Tickets cost $17.85 online.
