Hartford residents who have their sights set on exploring more of the globe will want to set a reminder, as an accomplished and revered travel expert will be speaking at an event.
Rick Steves, one of the most beloved and trusted travel experts in America, will visit the Hartford area as part of an event organized by the World Affairs Council of Connecticut. The gathering will give attendees the chance to enjoy a conversation with Steves, exchange travel stories, and learn more about what to expect and how to prepare to become a global citizen.
The program is expected to run for 90 minutes, at which point Steves will be available as part of a meet-and-greet and book signing segment. Print shops are the perfect resource for organizers who wish to promote such events around the city and increase their reach. The exclusive event will be held on one night only.
Members of The World Affairs Council of Connecticut are eligible for discounted tickets as part of the group’s mission to enlighten community members about foreign events, leaders, and perspectives, and to understand opposing views.
The Evening with Rick Steves event will be held in the Goodwin University Auditorium in East Hartford. The doors open at 5:30 PM on Thursday, March 19th. Tickets are $45 for members and $55 for non-members.
