Loveland library to host afternoon of all-ages play

When young people and the senior set get together, it can be a real recipe for a fun time, and a Loveland activity will help to create these connections.

The Loveland Public Library branch located at 300 North Adams will be welcoming everyone from the age of two upwards for an Intergenerational Block Party. Wrapping up June, it will run for two hours and will be a drop-in event with no advance registration needed.

Attendees at the block party will be rediscovering the joy of play, and the older ones can share their knowledge and skills while the younger attendees supply their creative energy. They will be using Lego and other building materials, and everyone can try their hand at playing Jenga. The fun will be set up out on the venue’s lawn so all participants can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

Libraries often serve as community hubs, offering recessional and learning activities. A poster printing company can craft materials that keep the public informed about the programs and events they have on offer.

This afternoon of play for all ages will run from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Friday, June 28. The organizers can be contacted at 970-962-2665, and additional information about other events the library has on its agenda can be found on its website.
