Tribute bands to celebrate Eric Clapton in Golden

Two acclaimed tribute acts will share the stage at Buffalo Rose Event Center in Golden to deliver a night of classic rock nostalgia this May.

Opening the evening, Forever Man will offer a high-energy homage to Eric Clapton’s musical legacy. The performance will span Clapton’s influential career, spotlighting selections from his work with Cream and Derek and The Dominos, as well as solo staples. The band is also known for capturing the spirit of songs like “Layla,” “Cocaine,” “Bell Bottom Blues,” and “Wonderful Tonight” with dynamic instrumentation and powerful vocals.

Following the Clapton tribute, Creedence Colorado Revival will perform hits inspired by Creedence Clearwater Revival and John Fogerty’s solo career. Known for their faithful recreations of the band’s swamp-rock sound, the group will deliver the classics that defined an era marked by social and political unrest. The ensemble includes Stevey Howlin on drums and vocals, Chris Mercer on guitar and vocals, Brett Hendrix on lead guitar, and Randy Mosman on bass and vocals.

General admission seating is available on a first come, first-served basis. Reserved tickets include designated seating options. All ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be issued. Ticket prices are between $20 and $160.
