Healthcare workers in Golden may be interested in an upcoming educational opportunity.
The Colorado Association of Healthcare Access Management (COHAM) will be hosting its annual ‘Workforce & Leadership Summit’ this September. This year’s theme is ‘The Human Side of Access’ and will be focusing on leadership and the latest trends in the industry.
Attendees will have the opportunity to attend educational sessions, as well as time set aside for networking with their peers. Events such as this often see attendees distributing Business Cards amongst themselves during the networking periods.
The Summit will have a variety of learning opportunities available to those in attendance. There will be a keynote speaker to start the event and a guided eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) session, specific to healthcare workers, to conclude the day. Attendees will also have the opportunity to choose a breakout session, allowing them to have some control over where they would like to focus their learning.
The workshop will be taking place on Thursday September 17 at The Club at Rolling Hills, located at 15707 West 26th Avenue in Golden. Registration and coffee will start at 9:30 am, with opening remarks beginning at 10:00 am. The day will conclude at 2:00 pm, with a break at 11:45 am for a provided lunch and additional networking time. Tickets for the event can be purchased online and are available to COHAM members for free, or to non-members for $75.
