The UllrGrass Music & Beer Festival is set to return for its 12th year, bringing three days of live music, craft beer, and winter celebration to Parfet Park.
The festival honors Ullr, the Norse god of winter, with a community-focused event featuring bluegrass, funk, newgrass, and jam band performances.
Founded by longtime Golden residents Susannah and Chris Thompson, UllrGrass has grown into a signature winter gathering. Attendees often embrace Viking-themed attire while enjoying multiple stages of live performances.
Saturday, January 31 will see the UllrGrass Beer Festival held from noon to 4:00 pm, with 35 craft breweries offering samples alongside continuous music. Evening concerts on Friday and Saturday will be held under heated tents to ensure comfort in winter conditions.
The festival relies on over 100 volunteers and partnerships with over 50 local businesses. Proceeds will benefit local charities, including the Kids Music Project and A Precious Child Foundation.
Tickets are available in a range of options, from single-day passes to VIP weekend packages. Prices include Friday access for $39.19, Saturday BeerFest and shows for $87.21, and VIP Gold weekend passes for $482.02, which cover catered meals, an open bar, and backstage access. Banner printing may be displayed at the site of events such as this one to guide attendees.
The festival will take place at Parfet Park, 725 10th St, Golden from Friday, January 30 to Sunday, February 1.
