Golden bookworms have an exciting evening to take note of this October.
Books and Beer is an event in support of Reach Out and Read Colorado, an organization that helps to provide families in need resources to support early literacy. The event will give participants a fun evening out with opportunities to win prizes and do some shopping.
Fundraising events such as this often make use of flyer printing to help get the word out. Flyers can be useful for sharing information about the event itself, and the larger format may also allow for information on the cause and how to donate outside of the specific event.
The Books and Beer event will feature multiple activities for participants. There will be a “Blind Date with a Book” fundraiser, where participants can purchase a gently used book, with only limited information on the book’s contents making for fun surprises. There will also be a trivia event to participate in for those who wish. To incorporate the “Beer” aspect of “Books and Beer,” tickets for the event will include one drink ticket and a commemorative beer stein.
The evening will be taking place on Wednesday, October 14 at The Eddy Taproom & Hotel, located at 1640 8th St, Golden. The event will run from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and tickets cost $25 online.
