Intrinsic Collective in Golden will hold a group art session in March where attendees can draw real-life people.
Life Drawing is a two-hour session where aspiring artists can practice working with a live model. The activity is uninstructed, which allows participants to practice drawing the human form on their own. The model in the session will do multiple poses for varying time lengths. The venue will provide folding chairs for the experience, though the participating artists are asked to bring their own art supplies and preferred drawing surfaces. All skill levels can attend the session.
Intrinsic Collective is an event space where people can host community activities, workshops, and private parties. Many kinds of programs have been held at the building, such as Lefty Loosey Dance Fitness, yoga sessions with Nancy Harrington, and group bowspring classes led by Keren Assouline. Those interested in renting the Intrinsic Collective event space can pay $1,500 per day or $150 per hour. The building has a large TV, Bluetooth speaker, and galaxy light.
The life drawing activity will be held on Sunday, March 3 from 2:45pm to 5:00pm. Guests must be present by 3:00pm or they will be unable to enter the building. General admission will cost $15 per person, and students can pay $10. People who arrange group art activities like this may use flyer printing to advertise their sessions.
