The business Golden Mountain Guides will be organizing a lesson in January covering the art of drytooling – the technique of using ice axes to ascend mountains that are not icy.
Intro to Drytooling is an event for those who want to develop their rock climbing skills. Understanding how to use drytooling can increase a climber’s ability to scale mountains. Those in the course are expected to have some previous experiences with rock climbing. A few of the subjects people can learn at the event include how to use ice tools to feel rock holds and rest positions. The class will also teach students about climbing resources.
