Elementary school organization to hold bar crawl in Golden

The Mitchell Elementary PTA will host an event in April where participants can visit several Golden drink venues.

The Western on Washington Saloon Stroll is an activity that invites those over 21 to visit local bars while dressed in cowboy-themed attire. Several businesses are taking part in the stroll, including the Golden Moon Speakeasy, Trailhead Taphouse, and Brick Room. People can attend a live concert at The Rose and participate in a silent auction during the bar crawl. Meals and appetizers will be available for an additional fee at the venues.

The Mitchell Elementary PTA is an organization led by Meghan Eddy that hosts many events, like Math & Science Night and the Science & Social Studies Fair. Businesses can help support Golden teachers and students by sponsoring the group. There are four main sponsorship packages that range from $100 to $1,000. The tiers include benefits like recognition at Mitchell Elementary’s events, advertisement space in the school’s Yearbooks, and website recognition.

The saloon stroll will take place on Friday, April 19. Guests can check into the event at YoColorado between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Tickets to the bar crawl will cost $50 for teachers and other staff members at Mitchell Elementary and $75 for the general public. School organizations that hold similar types of activities may utilize flyer printing to share information about their events.
