Unique establishment opens in Castle Rock

A new food hall has recently opened in Castle Rock. Called Ecclesia Market, the hall is located in an old church and is a maze of venues, highlighted with historical touches and natural light.

Ecclesia is in the heart of downtown and has three floors with two patios. Among the features of Ecclesia are the food hall, a bar, a bookstore, arcade, a record vendor, and a specialty food store. Print shops can be hired to print floor plans of such establishments so that people are able to find their way around.

There are currently four vendors in the food hall. Burritos, enchiladas, and tacos are available from Romo’s Street Tacos as well as guacamole, breakfast burritos, and chips and salsa. German food, including pretzels with bier-cheese, knockwurst, and German brats, can be found at Lante Bräu-Casa. A seafood stall and Moosh Moosh, specializing in desserts, will be opening this summer.

Sinners & Saints is the bar on the upstairs level, and Sudden Fiction Books is also on the top floor and sells used and new books for both adults and children. Vinyl Study, which has plans to open soon and will be selling records, can be found between the bar and bookstore.

The arcade has pool tables, foosball tables, and many arcade games, and is a destination for the kids during the day, then a place for adults to hang out at night.
