Castle Rock celebrates charity with Roaring Twenties gala

SECOR will be presenting a Roaring Twenties Anniversary Gala in early May.

The event will be a celebration of the organization's 20 years of aiding suburban families facing poverty in Douglas, Elbert, and Arapahoe counties, and its aim to continue forward momentum in the future.

Guests will be treated to a happy hour, four-course dinner, signature beer provided by Two22, a program, and a fundraising auction. Items both monetary and in-kind are currently being collected for the auction. Many businesses that give to charity auctions like this often slip Business Cards and Promotional Products in with their tax-deductible donations.

Music for the reception will be provided by the After Midnight Jazz Band. This is a lively jazz/swing band composed of Mike McCullough on vocals and guitar, Andy Weyl on keyboard, Brian Casey on bass, Jim Moore on drums, Rick Weingarten on vocals and vibraphone, and Roger Campbell on clarinet.

Guests are asked to dress either in black tie or Roaring Twenties attire such as sequined flapper dresses for the ladies, and three-piece suits and felt fedoras for the men. Admission will be $150 per individual. Sponsorships are available starting at $500 and going up to $20,000.

The SECOR Roaring Twentieth Anniversary Gala will take place Saturday, May 9 from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm at Cielo at Castle Pines, 485 W Happy Canyon Road.
