The Douglas County Fair will be coming to Castle Rock in late July and beginning of August.
A carnival with all the midway rides, food, games and The Kodiak Ranch Petting Zoo will run in the afternoons, and The Douglas County Fair and Rodeo Parade will go through downtown Castle Rock. The outdoor area will present a drone show.
The Event Center will offer a marketplace where a Official Douglas's County Fair and Rodeo merchandise booth will have souvenirs.
Many items sold at county fairs like this often have been sent to local Print shops to be printed with the event's graphic or Logo Design and the year.
The Women's Professional Rodeo Association women's barrel racing will be on July 30th from 9:00 am to noon and the ProRodeo Bares, Broncs and Bulls will present a Roughstock at the Rock Rodeo from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. On Friday July 31st, Saturday, August 1st and Sunday August 2nd, the rodeo will present activities that will be focused on speed and completion of skills.
A farm-to-table will take place July 26th from 10:00 am to noon in the tent on the Grass Fields. Some of the other activities will include a Vintage Car Club of Castle Rock Car Show, Draft Horse Show, bake sale, quilting contest, Jr. Division animal shows, and a singing showcase.
The Douglas County Fair and Rodeo will take place at 500 Fairgrounds Drive July 24th through August 2nd.
