It has been recently announced that The Famous Steak House, a well-known restaurant in Colorado Springs, will be opening a second location in Castle Rock.
The new joint will be just south of the Outlets at Castle Rock, on the northwest corner of Interstate 25 and Meadows Blvd.
The co-owners said that they had been thinking of adding more locations. It was the diners from out of town who traveled down Interstate 25 to eat at the Colorado Springs restaurant, that convinced them a location closer to them and South Denver was needed.
The co-owners expressed excitement about the new restaurant. It plans to be a beautiful building that will have unobstructed views of the mountains and other scenery.
The new restaurant will be 10,000 square feet in area, complete with three levels, renovating an existing building. There will also be featured cigar humidors and wine lockers. The menu, like the one in Colorado Springs, will focus on cocktails, steaks, chops, and other fine dining options.
