The first chocolate café in the United States was recently opened by the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory at The Outlets at Castle Rock.
Various kinds of Promotional Products can be distributed throughout the community to publicize such unique stores and their many offerings.
The store had been closed in April 2018, but new owners and major renovations have enabled the shop to reopen, allowing sweet-toothed locals to sip on chocolate lattes during their visits.
In addition to the staples of rich fudge, Tiger Butter caramel apples, and creamy truffles, the store also has a café that serves several types of international coffees, along with its own unique item called ‘drinking cacao’, which is a blend of steamed milk and melted chocolate that creates a rich and creamy type of hot chocolate.
The owners of the store are Brianne and Jacob Blaylock, residents of Castle Rock. They are both from Missouri and previously ran a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store in Petaluma, California that sells gourmet chocolates and other confectionery treats. The corporate office approached them and asked them to run the store in Castle Rock and add the café component. They were excited to do so and left California for Colorado.
Jacob expressed his enthusiasm about opening this store in Castle Rock and being the first such store to also have the café component.
