A benefit will be taking place at the end of this month for Wings of Hope for Pancreatic Cancer Research in Cherry Hills Village at the Glenmoor Country Club. Residents of Castle Rock will want to attend this special event.
Jeremy Poincenot, who is a golf champion and legally blind, will be the keynote speaker at An Evening of Hope. Poincenot commented that although he did not suffer from pancreatic cancer, he understands such challenges that many people face and how these challenges can be overcome.
In addition to the opportunity of meeting the speaker, attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception and bid on many items in an auction. Promotional Products are often used to advertise such events and their fundraising efforts.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards critical and ongoing research into early diagnosis and treatments for pancreatic cancer taking place at the University of Colorado Cancer Center in Aurora. Founder of Wings of Hope, Maureen Shul, said that the least funded research is on pancreatic cancer so that events such as this one are increasingly significant. She added that Poincenot’s story of how he was able to overcome a life-changing impairment and become such a champion will be an inspiration to everyone who hears him speak.
The benefit will take place on Saturday, September 28.
