Many of those in Castle Rock who love cars, as well as those who love music and partying, will be congregating in Historic Downtown in mid-June for the 16th Annual Classic Rock Cruise In Car Show Weekend.
The festivities will begin on the Friday evening, with a free concert by Shelvis and the Roustabouts at a street party from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Members of the Vintage Car Club of Castle Rock will be bringing more than 50 cars to display.
The next morning, beginning at 10:00 am, Downtown will have more than 300 trucks, cars, and specialty vehicles on display. More than 60 trophies will be awarded, including Mayor's Choice, Best of Show, and Most Likely to Get Pulled Over.
Along with the cars, the venue will offer live bands Lookin Back from 10:00 am to 12:15 pm, and The Atomic Drifters from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm, as well as local breweries and food trucks. Vendors will be selling their merchandise and services, and free attractions for the children will include face painting, bounce houses, a rock wall, ice cream, and music.
