Two upcoming kid-centered events will take place on the same February evening– one a fundraiser and the other a ball.
An Evening of Charcuterie and Art will be a benefit for the Douglas County 4-H Foundation. Guests can enjoy charcuterie bites, view work from local artists, and bid on items in the silent auction.
Some businesspeople bring Business Cards to events like this and use the time as a quasi-networking opportunity.
Tickets are $15 for individuals or $25 for couples, and must be purchased online before January 31, 2024. The Douglas County 4-H Foundation supports local 4-H youth through programs fostering lifelong learning, increasing achievement, and developing citizenship.
An Evening of Charcuterie and Art will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 3 at Kirk Hall 500 Fairgrounds Road.
From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm that same evening, Castle Rock families are invited to attend an under--thesea journey to Atlantis in the town’s annual Winter Ball. Along with dancing, guests will be served light refreshments and get chances to win drawings.
Professional photos will be available for purchase, and corsages, single flowers, boutonnieres, and bouquets may be ordered beforehand.
Tickets will be $18 per individual and all attendees must have tickets. Guests can register on the Town of Castle Rock Parks and Recreation website.
The Winter Ball will be held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds James R. Sullivan Events Center.
