Castle Rock horse associations hold golf tournament

RMPHA (Rocky Mountain Paint Horse Association) and the RMQHA (Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Association) are presenting their RMPHA/RMQHA Annual Golf Tournament in early September.

Individual player registration will be $130 and teams of four will be $520. Registration will include a golf cart, 18 holes of golf, fun prizes and an awards luncheon. Golfers will also receive give away Bags.

Businesses that donate items to be placed into give away Bags often put Business Cards in with their donations.

Registration will begin at 7:00 am and golfers will leave the club house at 7:45 am. The tournament will begin at 8:00 am, and lunch, provided by the Larry Pippin Memorial Fund, will begin at 1:00 pm. Team and player awards and sponsor recognition will take place during the lunch.

Golf tournaments like this are good networking opportunities, and guests often bring plenty of Business Cards that they can use during the waiting times on the course and during the after-play luncheons.

Sponsorships are available at the $150 Beverage and Cart, $100 Hole and $50 Awards levels.

Last year's proceeds went to the organizations' youth development programs, young equestrian scholarships, horse show operations and educational clinics.

The RMPHA & RMQHA Annual Larry Pippin Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled to take place from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Monday September 8 at Plum Creek Golf Club, 331 Players Club Drive.
