Castle Rock goes to summer concerts

The Town of Castle Rock will present its annual Summer Concert Series starting in the latter part of June.

The series will feature five concerts, beginning with Sugar Ray joined by special guest Dylan Cotrone. The venue will open Saturday, June 21 at 6:00 pm with the opening acts starting at 8:00 pm. Sugar Ray will begin their show at 8:30 pm.

Although the headlining band for July 11 has not been announced, July 19 will see Philadelphia Freedom, an Elton John tribute band, take the stage at 8:30 pm.

On August 9, the series will go country with Chris Lane. His special guests for the performance will be Chase McDaniel. Lane is known for his Find Another Bar single and his recent If I Die Before You chart-climber. Gates will open at 6:00 pm with the headline performance beginning at 8:30 pm.

Yachty Got Back is a high energy 13-piece band fronted by three female and one male vocalist playing ‘70s and ‘80s soft rock. They will be joined by the 65 members of the Denver Pop Orchestra. This dual performance will begin at 8:00 pm on August 30.
