Castle Rock will offer Halloween events with something spooky for the older residents and something fun for the youngsters during October.
There is still time to get tickets for the Ghostly Stories and Tragic Tales Downtown Castle Rock walking tour, hosted by the Castle Rock Museum. The free tour will start and finish at the Castel Rock Museum, 420 Elbert Street, and guides will talk about the tragic and ghostly events at the Old Stone Church, Hangman’s’ Gulch, The B&B Café the Rock and other places that have shady and creepy pasts.
The Ghostly Stories and Tragic Tales nighttime tours will take place from 7:00pm to 8:00pm on October 11, 18, 19 and 25th, and daytime tours will take place on October 14th and 28th beginning at 1:00pm. Reservations are required, and donations are encouraged.
Little ghosts and goblin preschoolers and home-schooled kids are invited to attend the town’s annual Fangtastic Festival. The little guests will go trick-or-treating from booth-to-booth while enjoying Halloween music. The venue will also have Halloween-themed vendor booths.
Often, pictures taken during events like these can be taken to local Print shops and become part of the town’s visitor guides for the upcoming year, or can simply be enjoyed and cherished by families.
Fangtastic Festival will take place October 27th from noon to 3:00pm in Downtown Castle Rock’s Festival Park, 300 2nd Street.Get a Free Quote for Print
