Castle Rock always looks forward to kicking off the holidays with Season of the Star, and this year is no different.
The festivities will begin with the star lighting on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Here, the Castle Rock Professional Firefighters will be serving their 87th Annual Chili supper all day. Festivities will include dance groups and strolling carolers. A Kids’ Zone will have games and hot chocolate. Sponsors and non-profit organizations will be vending holiday items and food in booths located along the street.
Santa Claus will be making his appearance between 2:00pm and 4:15pm. The 2023 Starlighting Ceremony will take place at 5:00pm, with a fireworks display following at 5:30pm. Parents often take pictures of their children enjoying events like these to nearby Stationery printers to become the subjects of personal note cards.
The Starlighting event will take place on Saturday, November 18th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Historic Wilcox Square.
Festival Park Starlight Market will be Friday, December 1st from 3:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday, December 2nd from 11:00am to 7:00pm. Over 40 vendors will be selling everything from crafts, specialty items and art to roasted chestnuts, tamales, and salsa. The 40-foot holiday tree will be lit, and guests may enjoy food truck goodies, hot cocoa, and holiday music.
Reindeer Games will return to Philip S. Miller Park from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Saturday December 2nd. Kids may enjoy winter activities, live reindeer, a visit from Santa, sleigh and train rides, and an obstacle course.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
