Castle Rock Artfest will be returning to Downtown Castle Rock and is looking for artists, vendors and sponsors.
The event will be a free two-day affair hoping for over 100 local, regional and national artists to be part of its blind juried exhibition. All work will be hand produced original or limited-edition reproductions by the artist. Awards will be given to Best of Show, Fine Crafts, and Fine Arts. Medium categories will include ceramics, computer generated graphics and digital art, drawings, pastels, fiber, glass, printmaking, jewelry, metal work, mixed media, wood, photography, sculpture and paintings.
A main stage will offer entertainment provided by popular local talent, kids can enjoy a Children's Imagination Zone and Hawk Quest, and everyone can take part in art and paint classes.
Sponsorships are available at the $3000 silver, $4000 gold, $5000 platinum and $10,000 presenting levels. All sponsors will get their Logo Design on the Artfest's webpage and in all marketing materials. The presenting sponsor and the platinum sponsors will need to get their logo design to the festival organizers before the Main Stage banner printing gets underway.
Vendors selling gourmet or traditional festival food are asked to apply.
This year's Artfest will be on Perry Street and in Festival Park, 300 Second Street, Saturday September 7th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and the 8th from 10:00 am to 4:00 am.
