The Brighton Rotary Club will be hosting its annual Peach and Pear sale this August, highlighting locally-grown fruit in honor of a good cause.
The annual event features fresh and high-quality Colorado-grown peaches and pears. The annual event is designed to coincide with the typical harvest season for these fruits. This year there will also be small batch jams made with the same fruit, with no added fructose. Options available include artisan peach bourbon jam or peach jalapeno jam. The fruit is sold through an online ordering system, with fruit available by the pound, and picked up in person fresh off the tree. The Rotary Club has been running this fundraiser for decades, with the same farm in Palisades, Colorado supplying the fruit for the past 20 years.
Proceeds raised from the sale will go towards the Brighton Rotary’s scholarship fund, which goes towards Brighton students pursuing college and trade school. Leftover fruit will also be donated to a good cause. The event is one of several charitable fundraisers that the Club runs over the course of the year. Charitable occasions like this often use methods like brochure printing and social media to help inform people of the cause being supported.
The 2025 Brighton Rotary Club’s Peach and Pear Sale will take place on August 24 at the Affinity Parking Lot.
