Brighton event to bring touch of magic

The Magicians Agency will be bringing fun and surprises to Brighton this September when A Night of Magic & Comedy arrives in the city.

The event is a touring show featuring magician Scott Pepper, a British-born illusionist with decades of experience who has performed on shows such as Masters of Illusion. Also part of the show is Kirk Marsh, who works in the traditions of clown and juggling and is known for his silent performances around the world.

The show is designed to be family-friendly, with children four and up welcomed. The promoter’s website says:

“We know that families are looking for entertainment that everyone can enjoy, which is why we have designed our theatre to be welcoming and comfortable for all.”

VIP ticketholders will receive front-row seating as well as access to a “top secret” website section explaining how 18 common magic trips are performed. A Night of Magic & Comedy is produced by the Magicians Agency, a magic-focused club in San Antonio founded by Pepper which also runs touring shows. The Brighton event is one of several stops in Colorado, with shows also scheduled for Boulder, Nedarland, and more. Magic and illusion shows like this often use method such as flyer printing and social media to help attract a wider audience.

A Night of Magic & Comedy will be staged in Brighton on Friday, September 13 at the Armory Performing Arts Center.
