There will be a special Concert for a Cause event in Brighton this year, aiming to raise money for a local non-profit show.
The concert will be headlined by Mz. Vendetta, a group of four female musicians who play rock music inspired by the classic sounds of the ‘70s and ‘80s. Opening the night will be the group Buck, which focuses more on blues- and funk-infused rock. Money raised through the concert will go towards the Richard Lambert Foundation, which provides mental health support towards children and adults who have suffered recent loss and grief through support groups, educational presentations, and opportunities for creative expression.
The concert will also feature a cash bar and food provided by Simply Pizza Truck. Concert for a Cause is promoted by Flutterby Gives, which helps to organize similar charitable events throughout the year, including a chili cookoff, golf competition, and cornhole tournament. The two artists featured also performed to raise funds for the organization last September. Charitable events like this often use methods like poster printing and online social media posts to help raise awareness of both the occasion and the cause it is supporting.
The 2025 Concert for a Cause will take place at The Armory in Brighton on the evening of next Saturday, March 1. Ticket prices vary widely to allow for a range of giving.
