The Contra Costa Resource Conservation District (CCRCD) will be holding The Shoreline Festival in Crockett later this week.
This first-of-its-kind festival will celebrate the elements of a watershed – water, air, earth, and fire. Residents of nearby Vallejo may not want to miss this unique event.
This is a celebration of Watershed Awareness Month in Contra Costa County. Declared by the Board of Supervisors, the month will highlight the shoreline in Contra Costa County. The focus will be on clean water practices, sustainable living, and environmental education.
The festival will feature entertainment that will include live bands, dance troops, and other performers. There will also be beer and wine tastings throughout the day, with additional booths offering other types of tasty beverages.
Tethered hot air balloon rides will be offered. Small businesses and artisans will be selling their ware, as well as many sustainable products. There will also be food trucks and vendors providing a wide range of cuisines. Such an event can be a valuable opportunity for artisans and food vendors, who can order a full line of marketing supplies from local Print shops.
The festival will be held from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 20 near the CREEC Greenhouse on Dowrelio Drive. Proceeds frGet a Free Quote for Print
