Vallejo to hold webinar, ceremony, and update dispensary

Several events and updates will be taking place in Vallejo.

Flyer printing services are often used to make such events and announcements known throughout a community.

The Building Division has approved a Tenant Improvement permit for the Coastal Dispensary in the Safeway Shopping Center on Robles Way. A major remodeling project will be undertaken in the 1,957 square foot dispensary, valued at $30,000.

There will be a presentation on the living history of hospitals on Mare Island by Thomas L. Snyder, M.D. These navy hospitals served the United States armed forces and the city of Vallejo from 1856 through 1957. This will be a free and informative webinar that will take place on Thursday, November 4 at noon.

Vallejo will also be hosting an honor ceremony for veterans to express gratitude for the service of its veterans and to acknowledge the sacrifices they make for this country. The Veterans of Foreign War Post and the city will be holding its annual honors ceremony. There will be dignitaries from the state of California, the Veteran’s Administration, Washington, D.C., and local representatives in attendance.

This ceremony will take place at the Mare Island Historic Naval Ceremony at 10:00 am and at 11:00 am at the Veteran’s Memorial behind Vallejo City Hall on Thursday, November 11. Both events are open to the public.
