Vallejo to give community an Italian experience

The Friends of Loma Vista Farm will be holding their Annual Taste of Italy Pasta Feed at the Florence Douglas Center in Vallejo, California this March.

The Annual Taste of Italy Pasta Feed is a yearly fundraiser hosted at the Florence Douglas Center to raise funds to support the Loma Vista Farm. The farm helps children in California learn more about the environment by holding agricultural lessons with hands-on experience with plants and animals. Those who attend the dinner will not only be treated to an Italian-inspired meal, but will also have the chance to enter in a silent auction and raffle.

Companies that are interested in sponsoring the event will be able to purchase a table for eight people for $500. Their contributions will give financial assistance to projects such as the new animal habitats for the Loma Vista Farm. According to the poster printing carried out for the event, businesses can contact the event coordinator by calling or emailing the farm to learn more about these sponsorship opportunities.

The Annual Taste of Italy Pasta Feed will be held this Saturday, March 23, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Tickets for the Italian dinner can be purchased in advance for $30 per person or can be bought at the door for $40 instead. Reserved tables for eight people are available for $300. Donations will be accepted during the fundraiser for those interested in providing additional support to the Loma Vista Farm.
