Vallejo to get a sneak peek into engineering

Those who are considering a career in marine engineering are invited to come to an event that will provide them with information about all that Vallejo’s Cal Maritime has to offer them.

The Engineering Preview Day will give those who attend a chance to see the campus up close. There will be tours of the facilities, including the training ship and simulators, as well as the residences and other facilities. Students and staff will be on hand to answer questions, and it is open to friends and families of prospective students, no matter what their age.

Those who are planning to come out are reminded that a schedule has been planned for the day, and if they are late for a particular session, they may not be able to participate in all that the event has to offer them.

The Engineering Preview Day will be held on November 19 at the Vallejo campus of Cal Maritime. The institution is located at 200 Maritime Academy Drive, and there is no fee to register.
