Residents of Vallejo and the surrounding area are encouraged to do some pre-holiday shopping at an upcoming sale.
Solano County is holding a Surplus Computer Sale, which will be hosted by Solano County General Services. There will be a variety of items to choose from, including Dell computers, printers, office chairs, monitors, desks, offices supplies, and tables. Since the goal of the event to liquidate as much of this surplus as possible, the prices will be set at a bargain level.
Officials with the county noted that there will be no warranty attached to the different pieces that are being sold, and they are all considered to be being offered in an “as in” condition.
A similar event was help in April, netting nearly $4,000 and attracting a crowd of more than 150 people. According to Matthew Davis, who is a spokesperson for the county, the plan is for these sales to be held more often, as different items are replaced or no longer needed. Flyers can help to let the public know more about these sales and when and where they will be held.
Davis further went on to say that the county surplus warehouse is open to the public each Friday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
The sale will take place on December 11 at 2543 Cordelia Road in Fairfield. It is set to start at 10:00 am.
