Vallejo invited to explore the benefits of drumming

Vallejo’s Artizen Cultural Arts Center has planned an occasion that will see participants use drumming to both help find a place of relaxation and connect with their fellow drummers.

Those who come to the DRUMMM Rhythm Journey & Sound Meditation workshop will be guided through the session by a facilitator. During the first portion of the night, there will be drumming, and this will then be followed by meditation that will include sounds from the presenter that are meant to be both relaxing and restorative.

The organizers of the event noted that those who participate do not need to have any musical experience, and they are welcome to bring along their own instrument or use the ones provided. Those who plan on being included in the activity are asked to wear comfortable clothing they can relax in, and a yoga mat, pillow, or other item to recline on.

The ticket price for this workshop is $25 each, and while everyone is welcome, only a limited number are available. Flyer printing can be used to create a variety of marketing materials that can help to promote an activity like this to people in the local community.

This evening of drumming, meditation, and more will be held on December 15 at 337 Georgia Street. More details, as well as an opportunity to register, can be found on its event listing.
