Vallejo hardware and lumber store to be acquired

O’Connor Lumber in Vallejo is in the process of being acquired by Big Creek Lumber of Waddell Canyon.

Such mergers often require the need for Stationery printers, as Letterheads, Brochures, logos, and other printed materials require updating.

The staff at O’Connor Lumber will remain and the products will be the same. Retail divisional manager at Big Creek Lumber, Kevin Dussault, said that O’Connor Lumber will be an ideal fit for his company. He added that O’Connor Lumber is well run, has a team that is knowledgeable, and is a turnkey operation that can be grown in the future. He said that most products and services will remain the same but now a full-service lumberyard with a larger inventory and more selections of lumber will be available.

The current owner of O’Connor Lumber, Joe Pierre, said that the leadership team of Big Creek Lumber wants to carry on the traditions of the family business. Pierre added that they enjoy working with Big Creek Lumber and expressed his gratitude that their employees will be able to work for their new owner.

Vice President of Human Resources, Ellen McCrary, welcomed the employees of O’Connor Lumber to the family and said she is looking forward to the two companies growing, prospering, and working together.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for the fall.
