Unique holiday festival returns to Vallejo

The 5th annual Mad Hatter Holiday Festival, Parade and Tree Lighting is taking place early this December in downtown Vallejo.

There will be a wide variety of events taking place in the city during the afternoon. The JFK Library will be hosting several characters from Alice in Wonderland and providing musical entertainment, food, and dancing horses. The Mad Hatter parade will begin in the evening and travel along Georgia Street. This will be followed by a tree lighting ceremony and the Lighted Boat Parade. Later, there will be tree lighting at Wonderland Park.

Of course, Santa will be there, as well as the Gypsy Time Travelers. Visitors can sit on the Mad Hatter's Giant Sofa or gaze through the Steampunk Kaleidoscope.

The Mad Hatter Costume Ball, which is also planned for the day, is a fundraiser for the festival. Guests will enjoy food, drink, and live entertainment. Costumes are not mandatory but are appreciated.

Vallejo printing companies will no doubt be asked to provide organizers with some necessities, such as Banners and advertising Posters.

The festival is being held at various venues on December 6 from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with the ball taking place at Dance Unlimited, beginning at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $20 before December 3 and $25 after. Call 844-344-8793 to find out more about the day.
