Time once again for Vallejo farm event

Vallejo’s Vista Farm will once again be hosting its annual fundraiser in a few weeks’ time.

The farm’s ‘A Taste of Italy Pasta Feed Fundraiser’ will provide those who attend with more than just a pasta dinner. There will also be a cocktail hour for the guests to mingle and socialize, a silent auction, and a raffle.

It all kicks off with cocktails, the silent auction, and raffle starting at 5:00 pm, with dinner to be served at 6:00 pm. Tickets for the event are priced at $20 for adults, with those for children ages 6-12 being $15 and those under 5 being admitted free of charge. A table of eight can be reserved for $200. Farm themed decorations for events such as this can be produced by a poster printing company.

All of the proceeds from the event will be used to help support the new habitat development at Loma Vista farm. This facility covers an area of five acres and provides both young and old with an opportunity learn more about farming and food production. Families, public schools, and other classes, college students, adults, and anyone else are all welcome to visit and interact with the plants, animals, and staff. Along with the visits, there are also opportunities to volunteer, take a class, and learn new skills.

The Taste of Italy fundraiser will take place at the Florence Douglas Senior Center on April 23. Tickets are available for purchase online through the Loma Vista Farm website.
